Mutual Funds, Variable Annuities and
other Investment Vehicles
If your retirement account invests in mutual
funds (such as the Diversified Investors Funds Group and Strategic
Allocation Funds) or registered variable annuities (such as the Diversified
Investors Variable Funds and Strategic Variable Funds), the account
information must be accompanied or preceded by a current prospectus.
The prospectus contains additional information about the funds or
subaccounts, including the investment objectives, risks, charges,
and other expenses. You should consider all such information carefully
before investing. Please read it carefully before you make your investment
choices. By logging into the secure data access area, you acknowledge
that you have received and read the prospectus.
If your retirement account invests in non-registered
investment vehicles (such as the Diversified Investment Advisors
Collective Trust or insurance company pooled separate accounts designed
for pension investments), a prospectus is not applicable with respect
to the investment options under such investment vehicles. Since
the investment options available under a collective trust or insurance
company separate account are exempt from SEC registration, a prospectus
is not available with respect to such investment options. However,
additional information about such investment options is available
in your plan materials.
The Diversified funds are offered by Diversified
Investors Securities Corp. (DISC), 4 Manhattanville Road, Purchase,
New York 10577. Any non-Diversified fund offered under the retirement
plan is distributed by that particular fund's associated fund family
and its affiliated broker-dealer or other broker-dealers with effective
selling agreements, such as DISC. If Fixed, Guaranteed or Stable
Fund is offered under the plan by Diversified, such option is made
available under a group annuity contract issued by Transamerica
Financial Life Insurance Company (TFLIC), 4 Manhattanville Road,
Purchase, New York 10577. Variable annuities and other insurance
company separate account options, if any, are also made available
under a group annuity contract issued by TFLIC. The trustee of the
Diversified Investment Advisors Collective Trust is Massachusetts
Fidelity Trust Company (MFTC), an Iowa trust company. Diversified
Investment Advisors (Diversified) is the investment adviser to the
Diversified funds and appoints the subadviser(s) to manage their
portfolios. Diversified, TFLIC and MFTC are affiliates of DISC.
Please be aware that some of the products, investment vehicles or
options, and services mentioned or described on this site may not
be available or appropriate in all workplace savings plans.
General
The account information may include information on unit or share values and fund performance. Please keep in mind that unit and share values for equity and bond funds or subaccounts reflect current market activity and may rise or fall. As a result, the value of the account(s) may increase or decrease from day to day. The performance data quoted represents past performance. Past performance is not a guarantee of future results. The investment return and principal value of an investment in a fund, other than a Guaranteed, Stable or Fixed Interest Fund, will fluctuate so that an investor's units or shares, when redeemed, may be worth more or less than their original cost. There is no assurance that a fund or subaccount will achieve its investment objective. The principal value of an investment in a Guaranteed, Stable or Fixed Interest Fund will not fluctuate; however, such fund's guarantee of principal and/or interest is based on the claims paying ability of the issuing company. An investment in a money market fund or subaccount is not guaranteed by the FDIC or any other government agency. There can be no assurance that a money market fund or subaccount will be able to maintain a stable net asset value. Employer stock, if offered under the plan, is not diversified and a plan participant should consider the risk of concentrating his or her retirement funds in employer stock.
